National Membership
As a member of NAHN, you have a voice in national issues impacting the health care of Hispanics. All members are eligible to participate in NAHN activities, to be candidates for NAHN elected positions, and participate in the election of NAHN board members. Benefits of membership include continuing education, professional networking, and leadership development.
LA NAHN Local Chapter Membership
Membership in LA NAHN provides members with the opportunity to address issues impacting health care of Hispanics at the local and state levels. Benefits of chapter membership include local continuing education; professional and social networking; a one-year subscription to La Connexion which contains information about chapter news and members’ achievements; and enhancement of your professional image and leadership skills through participation on health and community committees.

Full Member "Active" (Voting)
Hispanic/Latino/a RNs, LVNs, or LPNs licensed by, and residing in, the
United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or any other U.S.
jurisdictions.

Associate Member (Non-Voting)
Non-Hispanic/Latino/a licensed nurses interested in and concerned
about the nursing and health care needs of the Hispanic community.

Student Member (Non-Voting)
Hispanic/Latino/a individuals enrolled in RN/LPN/LVN program leading
to nurse licensure.

Retired Member (Voting)
Hispanic/Latino/a licensed nurses who are at least sixty-two (62)
years of age and not employed full time in nursing.

International Member (Non-Voting)
Hispanic/Latino/a nurses in their country of origin who do not reside
in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or any other
U.S. jurisdictions.
