About the event

The campaign will take a coordinated and sustained approach that leverages the latest in public health findings to clearly articulate to parents, the broader public, and healthcare providers the dangers of HPV pre-cancers and cancers, in addition to the benefits of HPV vaccination in preventing HPV cancers. Specifically, we will work with health leaders and organizations to:

·  Increase awareness and implementation of evidence-based interventions in community settings;

·  Improve implementation of best practices in clinical settings; and,

·  Raise awareness of relevant policies and support vaccination advocacy efforts.

Path to a Bright Future will formally launch on Friday, March 4 – International HPV Awareness Day – during a virtual seminar focusing on a discussion of the role of HPV vaccination in cancer prevention, featuring panels of parents who have had their children vaccinated against HPV, healthcare providers, and campaign partners, each speaking from their perspectives on HPV cancer prevention. The launch event will conclude a week of educational and awareness seminars hosted by the St. Jude HPV Cancer Prevention Program – register for one or all at https://tinyurl.com/StJudeHPV2022.

As a “Path to a Bright Future” campaign partner, we would welcome your participation in the virtual seminar and in a variety of ongoing activities – including working with us to amplify important messages and campaign resources, participating in partnership strategy meetings, and co-branding campaign materials. Of course, your organization will also be recognized as a partner on the campaign website.
